IGP EXTENDS FELICITATIONS ON PCRC'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, extends warm felicitations to the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) as they mark their 40th anniversary with a series of commemorative events, including a Dinner/Gala Night and a Grand Finale. The PCRC has been an invaluable partner to the Police fostering mutual trust, understanding, and collaboration between the police and the communities they serve. Over the past four decades, the PCRC has played a pivotal role in promoting community-oriented policing, enhancing public safety, and advancing the shared goals of peace and security.

The ongoing PCRC 40th anniversary celebration was yesterday rounded off  in Ogun State, with a twin programme. An Annual General Meeting (AGM) & a Dinner/Awards signalled the end of the celebration in the States.

The two events took place at a new edifice, named Kayode Egbetokun Police Cooperative Event Centre, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, being the first corporate entity to put the state of the art event centre into use.

It's just like yesterday that the State PCRC Chairman, Ven. (Dr) Samson Kunle Popoola (JP), celebrated his 60th birthday, it's yet another celebration today as he is a year older today. He has every reason to continue to be thanking God for His benevolence, protection and grace, in and out of Nigeria, as well as a successful management of Ogun PCRC, without a single crack. We all in PCRC Ogun State Command join you in saying "THANK YOU GOD" for all He has done for you from birth to date. All your disciples in PCRC, starting from the Garrison Commanders (Area Command Chairmen), as well as the GOCs, are rejoicing & celebrating you, being a specially created creature that knows his onions. We pray and wish that you celebrate many more years in good health. We therefore celebrate a rare gem that is determined to take Ogun PCRC to an unimaginable & enviable standard & level.
