AfDB President urges Tinubu to fix power issue

The President, African Development Bank Group, Dr. Akinwumi A. Adesina, has said that for faster growth, Nigeria must decisively fix the issue of power, once and for all.

Speaking weekend at the Inauguration Lecture for the New President of Nigeria, Adesina said there is no justification for Nigeria not having enough power.

While noting that the abnormal has become normal, Adesina said Nigeria’s private sector is hampered by the high cost of power. “Providing electricity will make Nigerian industries more competitive.
