Dr. Mumba is the former Vice President of Zambia and President of the Movement for Multiparty Democracy .
In 1980, he founded an evangelistic movement later named, Victory Ministries, International.
Rev. Nevers Mumba is an internationally acclaimed speaker traveling the world sharing his flagship message that, "The SAME God who saves people from their sins, is the SAME God who can save a nation socially and politically."
Dr Mumba believes that, "the equitable delivery of goods and resources depends on quality leaders." He has championed the cause for morality and integrity in governance.
In 1997, In response to rising levels of corruption in government, Dr Nevers Mumba founded the National Christian Coalition, a political wing of ministry whose main objective was to educate and encourage Christian to join politics to provide morality and integrity in governance.
Dr Mumba became the first senior member of the Clergy in Zambia to become Vice President of Republic of Zambia in 2003. He later served as High Commissioner to Canada and the Carribean Islands where he was elected as the first Black President of Ottawa Diplomatic Group
He is married to his wife Florence and together have five children and four grand children.
