IGP EXTENDS FELICITATIONS ON PCRC'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION


The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, extends warm felicitations to the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) as they mark their 40th anniversary with a series of commemorative events, including a Dinner/Gala Night and a Grand Finale. The PCRC has been an invaluable partner to the Police fostering mutual trust, understanding, and collaboration between the police and the communities they serve. Over the past four decades, the PCRC has played a pivotal role in promoting community-oriented policing, enhancing public safety, and advancing the shared goals of peace and security.

As a way of putting icing on the cake of the activities marking 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in Ogun State, the Youth Committee of the Ogun State Command under tutelage of the indefatigable State Chairman and Father, Ven.(Dr) Samson Kunle Popoola JP and the able leadership of the Youth Coordinator, Com. Taoheed Amusa organised a rally with the theme 'Say No to Cultism’ on Tuesday 30th April, 2024 to sensitize the youth dangers in engaging in cultism.

40TH PCRC ANNIVERSARY ROUNDED OFF IN OGUN STATE WITH A TWIN PROGRAMME, LAUNCHES HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME, INAUGURATE 3RD BATCH OF TRAFFIC MARSHALLS.

The ongoing PCRC 40th anniversary celebration was yesterday rounded off  in Ogun State, with a twin programme. An Annual General Meeting (AGM) & a Dinner/Awards signalled the end of the celebration in the States.

The two events took place at a new edifice, named Kayode Egbetokun Police Cooperative Event Centre, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, being the first corporate entity to put the state of the art event centre into use.

The Nigeria Police Force, under the visionary leadership of the  Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, is set to convene a maiden landmark summit focused on addressing the critical challenges of police housing in the country. The summit is scheduled to take place at the prestigious Shehu Musa Yaradua Centre, Abuja, on the 22nd and 23rd of April, 2024.
