Federal Government’s National Service Innovation Competition: NDIC emerges 2nd and 5th

 



...at the third edition of the during its first outing.

The NDIC has emerged 2nd and 5th at the third edition of the FG’s National Service Innovation Competition during its first outing. The Corporation’s entries Presentli and SafeZone came Second and Fifth respectively bagging the winning participants N1,750,000 and N200,000.00 respectively. 

Presentli is an app that enables agencies keep track of their staff movement with a view towards limiting absenteeism in the civil service and enhancing productivity and accountability. 

While SafeZone dubbed “your live security update application” is a web-based application which provides security information as well as emergency contact numbers of security operatives in locations across the Country using pull and live data from reliable sources.


The competition organized by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation with the theme: “Towards a secure, collaborative and technology-driven Civil Service” was centered around three thematic areas – First, securing work environment for civil servants; Second, identifying new methods of promoting Public Private Partnerships (PPP); and Third, cost saving measures using modern technology.
