Boundary.

One word.

Three syllables.

Three vowels.

And yet, it holds so much power?

Limit.

One word.

Two syllables.

Two vowels.

And yet, it can destroy someone’s tower?

Of strength,

Creativity?

Just like that (Down),

No levitivity?

Confidence crushed.

Projects are rushed.

A need to please soon becomes

Mediocrity…..

All ‘cause of that one word.

That disturbs,

Throws in curves,

You no longer believe you can come out first.

You question your worth,

No longer alert.

You just want to exit

in the similitude of Brexit?

Your spirits are down.

All because of that one word.

You’ve turned into a clown.

Your friends think you’re absurd.

BUT you’re not.

Think.

THINK.

My mom tells me to think.

‘Cause when I don’t think,

She looks at me and asks

“Didn’t you think?”

You’re probably thinking,

“Is she obsessed with the word ‘think’?”

But that’s exactly what I want you to do.

To think.

Of how you can push the limits.

Push the boundaries.

These rules were made to be broken.

They’ll lie to you,

Saying you’re too young,

Too ugly,

Too dumb,

Too frumpy….

They’ll try to dictate.

Don’t make the mistake

Of playing their fake, no give just take games.

You divide and conquer,

You’ve got your own throne in Olympus.

The world will compare,

Show them you’re distinctive.

Rule.

One word.

One syllable.

One way of bringing you down.

Only the way that you give it.

You’ve got to stop coasting,

Rules need to start breaking,

Spirits need to start lifting,

And hands need to start making.

You are supreme

Show them you’re keen.

JUST BE, JUST BE, JUST BE,

The ‘you’ they’re meant to see,

Has an indestructible dream.

Indestructible, uncontainable,

Let them know that you are capable,

Trainable,

Show them that you’re not shakable,

And become unforgettable.

Limitation.

I don’t need you.

You’re just trying to pull

Me into becoming this fool,

Who doesn’t even know what she needs to do!

Yes, you have use,

And I’m gonna use you,

But I’m in charge,

You’ve got no more darts,

To throw at my heart.

I’m gonna blow,

And I’m gonna show,

You, that I’m not some boat,

In water that can’t float.

That is why,

Today,

Right here,

At Thinkation XX,
