Ola's sister got sick when she was staying with her relatives in Nigeria. Due to the fact that the local hospital couldn't manage her health condition, the family started to search for an air ambulance to get her safely to a medical facility where she could be treated.
The search took them from Nigeria to Ghana, Sierra Leone and Cameroon. Five hours later, the family succeeded in locating one in South Africa. By the time the logistics could be arranged, the sister had died.
Ola, now a medical doctor, had decided that no one would be lost the way her sister was. It was her pain at the loss of her sister that birthed the company, 'Flying Doctors Nigeria'
Don't let your pain go to waste. The pain over a difficult boss. The pain over a difficult spouse. The pain of unemployment. The pain of loss of a loved one. Extract the lessons therein and make your world benefit from it.
